Behaviour Support Location: Rotherham Salary: £83.33 - £110 per day Start Date: ASAP GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support professional to join our school in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping students overcome behavioural challenges and succeed in their education. Responsibilities as a Behaviour Support:As a Behaviour Support, you will work closely with teachers, students, and parents to create a positive learning environment. Your role will be vital in supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, ensuring they can engage fully with their education. Provide one-to-one and group support to students facing behavioural challenges. Develop and implement behaviour management plans. Work collaboratively with teachers to create a supportive classroom environment. Monitor and assess students’ progress and behaviour. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student behaviour. Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among students. Requirements for Behaviour Support: Experience working in a similar role or with children with behavioural needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team. A proactive and positive approach to behaviour management. Relevant qualifications in education or support roles are an advantage. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
