Responsibilities: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant specialising in Geography, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning process. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting the Geography department in planning and delivering engaging lessons. Supporting students on an individual and group basis, both in the classroom and during extracurricular activities. Providing one-on-one support to students with specific learning needs. Assisting in the preparation and management of classroom resources and materials. Supporting the class teacher in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment. Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria: Hold a degree in Geography or a related field, demonstrating a strong academic background in the subject. Previous experience working with children, either through tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students. Have a genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on young people's lives. Hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on the update service or be willing to obtain one before commencing the role.
