Smile Education is seeking a Year 1 Teacher to join our partner school, starting in November 2024. This is a full-time position running until July 2025, with the possibility of being made permanent based on performance. About the Role: Position: Year 1 Teacher Start Date: November 2024 End Date: July 2025 (potential to be made permanent) Location: Smethwick, West Midlands Contract Type: Full-time, term-time onlyKey Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Year 1 students, following the national curriculum. Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports children’s academic, social, and emotional development. Planning and preparing lessons, assessing pupil progress, and providing constructive feedback. Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team and support staff.About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. The role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers. A passion for working with young children and a commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential.
