Pay from £16.97 - £20.16 / hr Day shift, (Apply online only) (Mon-Thu), (Apply online only) (Fri) 33 days holiday per annum (includes bank holidays) Overtime available (Mon-Sat), paid at 1.5x RipleyKey Responsibilities The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to read and understand complex engineering drawings and specifications. The role will entail the fitting, assembly and testing of a wide array of assemblies. The scope of work will cover relatively straightforward tooling through to complex mechanical assemblies with associated hydraulic systems. The size of projects will vary from items which can be handled manually up to and including larger assemblies which require specialised lifting and handling equipment. Working closely with the Project Engineering team, you will be responsible for meeting the customer requirements as defined by their specification and testing requirements.Key Skills Manual machining and mechanical assembly experience. Experience of working with a wide range of assemblies in size and weight. Experience of working to tight tolerances. Understanding of the need to work to procedures and specifications
