Class 1 Container Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is looking for Class 1 shunting drivers to join our team on an ad hoc basis at the Southampton docks. About the Role: Position: Class 1 Shunting Driver Location: Southampton docks Schedule: Monday to Saturday, day shifts only Shift Hours: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm (12-hour shifts) Contract: Ad hoc basis (0 hours contract) - work as much or as little as you like Duties: Shunting containers within the docks; training provided Requirements: Licence: Full and valid Class 1 licence Certifications: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card Essential: DP World Card Experience: Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience, with at least 3 months of container work preferred Skills: Strong timekeeping and communication skills Transport: Own transport for commuting is desirable Why Work with Driver Hire Southampton?
