Having facilities in the UK, Europe and China allows them to serve customers around the globe. Our client is looking for a skilled and experienced candidate to take on the exciting and varied role of Assessment Manager within their Corporate team, specialising in Aerospace Management Systems. As Divisional Manager, you will be committed to the highest levels of service and in return this highly prestigious organisation offers long term stability and skills development for an ambitious, successful professional. The post calls for someone with a passion for quality and a strong track record of working with accreditation within a third party certification body. The work will be both engaging and rewarding. This is an opportunity to work in the public interest for the world's leading accreditation body. The Assessment Manager is the key focal point for customers. You'll be expected to meet their reasonable accreditation expectations with objectivity, diligence, and excellent customer service. The Assessment Manager will also be responsible for: Selecting assessment teams Establishing the assessment approach Leading the assessment and coordinating the team Collating and reporting each assessment Progressing each assessment project from start to finish The position involves extensive travel, mainly within the UK, with frequent overnight stays. To be successful in this role, you will: Have relevant hands-on experience, a broad knowledge of your sector and a good understanding of Aerospace management systems in organisations, specifically AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120. Have a working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021 and its implementation Be customer-focused with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills. Have experience in organisation auditing or assessment. Have a mindset of adding value.
