We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team, reporting into a semi resident Commercial Manager and working on a 9 million scheme. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in a main contracting environment who possess strong commercial acumen and can demonstrate a track record of working within commercial, residential or leisure projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the financial and commercial management of projects, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Prepare, submit and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and reports.
• Conduct risk and value management exercises, advising on procurement strategy.
• Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
• Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Work closely with the commercial manager and project director to ensure project objectives are met.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and contract law.
• Excellent negotiation and financial management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in relevant QS software and MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant qualification
