Position: Security Supervisor Location: Central London Pay Rate: £14.91 per hour Hours: Average 48 hours per week Shifts: 4 days on 4 days off, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM You must have lived within the UK for at least the last 5 years Your Time at Work - Managing the Night/Day Security Team and the Security Control room CCTV operations. - Booking on and off of all staff working on the Cabinet Office contract. - Ensure that security Officers are undertaking all duties as per site instructions. - Attend official meetings when required. - Ensure correct adherence to all reporting structures, maintaining correct protocol. - Carrying out annual staff appraisals. - Ensure that all require paperwork is completed, up to date and maintained - To provide shift cover where needed to ensure operational and contractual compliance. - To ensure that all staff are competent and able to carry out their roles, this is via Induction and ongoing training for staff eg. tool box talks - To comply with the Company's Policies, Management Plans and Procedures - To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Company's Health & Safety Policy and Health & Safety Management Plans - To support the Company's Quality Policy Statement and actively participate in the achievement of Company and personal Quality objectives -To undertake such other duties appropriate to the level and character of work as may reasonably be required within the Department / Service. Significant permanent changes in duties will require agreed revisions to be made to this Job Description Our Perfect Worker To ensure the safety and security of all employees, visitors and clients property. To manage the shift team in the successful security operation at the Cabinet Office contract, London. Report issues to Security Management relevant to improve service to client and welfare of officers. The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the security requirements of the client, under the guidance of the Security Management Team, whilst maintaining a good corporate image and high standards of professionalism.
