Electrical Services Engineer (Mobile)

NEW VACANCY: ELECTRICAL SERVICES MANAGER

Resourcing Group are currently working with an established FM provider who are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Electrical Services Manager to manage the electrical division.

Job Details:

• Salary: Up to 55k PA DOE
• Permanent/ full time
• Location: Based in Cambridgeshire (travel to other regions required)
• Vehicle OR travel incentive provided

Key Responsibilities:

Communication

• Report directly to the Operations Director and Senior Contracts Manager(s)
• Maintain regular communication with electrical engineers, supervisors and electrical administration teams
• Provide updates to Contract Managers regarding changes within the electrical team
• Liaise with clients as necessary to promote services and support division growth
• Report on the division's P&L
• Assist the sales and mobilisation teams when required
• Participate in company roadshows if needed

Team Responsibility

• Monitor and ensure KPIs and SLAs are met for PPM and reactive tasks
• Oversee team performance statistics
• Conduct audits
• Lead weekly meetings with supervisors and the helpdesk, ensuring adherence to the agenda
• Conduct performance appraisals for the entire electrical team every six months
• Act as Line Manager for Electrical Supervisors, QS, OSM, and administrative staff
• Foster a positive team morale
• Approve team holidays
• Identify labour shortages, recruit new staff, and reassign workloads as necessary
• Work closely with HR on staffing needs
• Enforce company electrical policies
• Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
• Perform any other duties as required by the company

Skills

• Qualified electrician or strong understanding of electrical processes and regulations
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office tools
