Solicitor (Immigration) - Permanent Location: Bedford Salary: Up to £40K + benefits Office-based - 2 years PQE We are recruiting for a Solicitor - (Immigration) to join this fantastic team. The Solicitor - (Immigration) would receive an attractive benefits package and you would report to the Supervising Partner. You should be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales and have experience in both business and private immigration. You must have experience working on your caseload and the ability to work to deadlines. As the Solicitor - (Immigration) you will have various areas of responsibility: * Visa (Business, Work, Student, Family, Visitors) * Sponsor license applications. * Advice on migrant employees * Settlement in the UK/Indefiniteleav to remain * Extension Applications * British citizenship * Human rights & Asylam * Deportation and removals * Subject Access requests * EEA Applications. Solicitor - (Immigration) Qualifying Skills and Experience: * A minimum of 2 years PQE as a solicitor in Immigration Law * Proven experience of handling own caseload * Good client care skills, provide professional and competent legal advice following the SRA Code of Conduct * Strong IT skills * Effective business development skills with proven marketing strategies. * Capability of generating fees in accordance * Good drafting and writing skills, excellent communication and technical ability Benefits for the Solicitor - (Immigration) are: * Pension Scheme * Death in Service of 3 X salary (after 1 year of service) * With the death-in-service benefit, the following extra services will be available through AIG Life for all eligible staff members. 1.
