Business Development Manager - Building

We are seeking an accomplished, self-driven, highly motivated Business Development Manager with experience in the Aviation sector (flight planning or runway performance). This position will carry the sales and customer relationship responsibility, in a given area, across all products of the Aircraft Performance Group (APG), RocketRoute and Seattle Avionics (APGA) product and service portfolio. As the successful Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for growth in your designated region. He/She will report to the Regional Sales Leader and will be required to travel on a frequent basis. renewals are key but new business is paramount Be an active ‘voice of the customer’ with all facets and areas of the business; Be a part of sales presence at own regional and industry events as well as annual trade shows as defined by senior sales leader Conduct competitor analysis to ensure marketing strategy effectiveness, suggest solutions when off the mark Develop, maintain, and enhance all individual sales KPI’s Experience in the Aviation sector (flight planning or runway performance) is required ~ Proven sales performance track record working in a remote environment ~ High levels of emotional intelligence with an ability to manage customers in a diverse aviation market ~ Business acumen, strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem-solving skills ~ Ability to manage multiple concurrent sales projects and initiatives in a cross-functional and multinational environment ~ Hands-on experience in quota and pipeline management tracking using a CRM system – Salesforce preferred ~ Aircraft Performance Group Aircraft Performance Group, LLC (APG) is a flight operations performance engineering firm, established in 1999, that specializes in Runway Analysis, Weight and Balance, and Flight Planning solutions for the airline and corporate flight operations industry.
