Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a leading Engineering company in the Nuclear sector to recruit a Mechanical Fitter on a 12-month contract for its Burghfield site.
The Mechanical Fitter role comes with an hourly rate of 34.
Key skills
- Assemble components to parts list and drawing requirements
- Perform functional testing of assemblies
- Test assemblies to customer and/or NIS criteria
- Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards
- Carry out mechanical assembly and testing to NIS and client specific requirements
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of equipment on client sites
