EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Turner / CNC Setter-Operator to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton working on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. Due to continued success and further growth, our client requires additional support within their machining department. Your responsibilities will include: * Using various CNC Turning machines * Setting / Operating multi axis machines * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Self inspecting parts using manual measuring equipment * Testing yours skills on challenging and intricate parts Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate: * Minimum 3 years CNC machining experience * Ability to set / operate / edit CNC Machines * CNC Turning experience * Experience working with Fanuc, Mazatrol, Siemens and /or Heidenhain control panels * Minimum 3 years machining complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc * Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings If you are interested in the opportunity of CNC Machinist / CNC Turner / CNC Setter-Operator and believe you meet the illustrated criteria, apply today to join our clients’ growing machining department.
