Senior Lawyer

Senior In-House Lawyer (Non-Contentious) Location: Watford (Hybrid working) Contract Type : (Permanent) In this role you will support the legal team in the conduct of non-contentious matters. This will include reviewing, negotiating, and drafting a wide range of contracts, as well as working with external solicitors. Sitting in the established legal team, you will be joining the team of lawyers who serve the UK division of the company. Key Responsibilities: Reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients, sub-contractors, consultants and others Drafting and maintaining precedent forms of contracts and agreements for use in the business Dealing with commercial agreements Providing legal support to our project and delivery teams including drafting correspondence and advising on claims issues Assisting with training and know how within the business Occasional support for contentious matters, including adjudications. To be successful in this role you will have: Significant experience (predominantly non-contentious ) gained within an in house or private practice of the above Be familiar with industry standard forms such as JCT and NEC.
