Job Advert: Music Instructor (KS3 & KS4) - All Girls Secondary School in Hornchurch Location: Hornchurch, Essex School Rating: Outstanding (Ofsted) Contract: Full-time / Part-time options available Start Date: Immediate / January 2024 We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music Instructor to join our dynamic teaching team at an Outstanding-rated all-girls secondary school in Hornchurch. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of musicians in a supportive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Plan, prepare, and implement creative and structured lesson plans that align with the national curriculum. Encourage student participation in school performances, competitions, and extracurricular music activities. Foster a love for music, ensuring all students have opportunities to develop their skills and confidence. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning and development. Contribute to the school's positive learning environment and uphold its outstanding standards. Ideal Candidate: Qualified or experienced in teaching music at secondary school level. Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 music curriculum. Passionate about music education with the ability to inspire students. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A positive role model who promotes creativity, self-expression, and teamwork. Experience working in an educational setting, particularly within an all-girls school, is desirable but not essential.
