Position: TIG Pipe Welder Contract Type: CIS Duration: 3 months Location: Kelliebank, FK10 (30 miles west of Edinburgh) Start Date: Approximate Start: Mid-October Testing Date: Monday, 30th September Pay: £1,446 - £1,915 per week (including overtime) We are seeking two experienced TIG and Stick Pipe Welders with 5G and 6G certification for a pivotal industrial project set to commence in Kelliebank, located just 30 miles west of Edinburgh. This role offers a substantial opportunity for professionals to engage in a long-term contract, featuring excellent pay and the potential for extensive work hours. Key Details: Weekly Pay: Core Hours (51 hrs): £1,446.01 CIS Max Hours (63 hrs): £1,915.65 CIS Pay Rates: Base Rate (up to 38 hours): £26.24 per hour Premium 1 (over 38 hours): £34.53 per hour Premium 2 (Saturday hours): £41.44 per hour Working Hours: Mon-Thurs: 7am – 6pm Fri: 7am - 2pm (additional 2-4 hours available) Sat: Overtime up to 8 hours available Core Hours: 51 hours per week Max Hours: 63 hours per week Accommodation: Weekly allowance of £337 Requirements: Certificates: * CSCS or CCNSG card * 5G and 6G Welding Certification * Working at Heights or AWP or Scaffold Access certification Experience with: * Proficiency in TIG and Stick Pipe welding, particularly in 5G and 6G positions Additional Requirements: * Willingness to undergo two site tests on the 30th of September to verify welding skills and safety compliance. Project Timeline: The project is anticipated to run from October 2024 until December 2024, providing 3 months of steady employment.
