We are looking for a Social Media professional for a four-month temporary contract whilst our Social Media Advisor enjoys a sabbatical break. As the leading trade association representing UK based offshore energy, we’re at the forefront of the energy transition and operate at government level. Our social media presence has never been larger or more important, and we’ll need you to be agile, dynamic, organised, and proactive. We will need you to deliver our plans whilst demonstrating your expertise and abilities with numerous stakeholders.
You’ll have experience of running notable corporate social channels, predominantly using LinkedIn and X, able to manage delivery of set programmes and plans, combined with the ability to respond to ad hoc requests including unplanned and urgent, rapid response work.
Using your broad skill set, you will be able to create and edit both images and video, drawing from a wealth of sources that will be available to you. The ability to write copy that matches our tone of voice and understanding the balance of being able to work autonomously when needed and still follow formal sign off when needed should be second nature, including managing effective response engagement and issues management.
Working within a multi-skilled marketing team, you will work with colleagues across the company to deliver a engaging social media plan. Great communication, organisational skills, and an ability to engage with teams and individuals with differing needs will be crucial to your success.
This role will be office based (at our smart London or Aberdeen offices), hybrid (3 days in the office, Tues / Weds / Thurs with 2 days working remote). Given the nature of social media, there may be some out of hours requirements.
