Welder Fabricator

Thornton - Metalworks Department Responsibilities: Fabricate various metal structures, including staircases, handrails, balustrades, entrance gates, secondary steel supports, architectural sculptures, etc. Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components. Ensure all fabrications are completed to a high standard with attention to detail. Carry out welding tasks using appropriate techniques. Perform on-site fabrication and installations when necessary. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow all health and safety regulations and best practices in the workshop and on-site. Maintain cleanliness of workshop and yard environments. Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, ideally within a construction or manufacturing enviroment. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or arc welding. Experience fabricating complex metal components with a high level of precision. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with modern fabrication processes, workshop practices, and on-site procedures. Other Requirements: Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
