The Sr Mgr, Channel Sales leads the development and execution of compelling channel growth solutions for assigned customers and channels. Build and lead channel strategies and commercial programs within a specific customer/channel. Duties and Responsibilities Manages Channel Partners to achieve sales and profit goals by selling with and through resellers/channels. Identifies and approaches key or strategic partners and sets short- and long-term channel strategies. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Ensures that partners forecasts/goals are met while adhering to approved budgets. Creation of Quotes on behalf of partners on a regular basis Manages time effectively with end of Month/Quarter/Year increases in activity. Maintains extensive knowledge of department processes and is able to advocate and act as Epicor partners liaison. Identify and assist in recruiting new Epicor Software partners Initiate and manage a sales process from start to finish with new and existing channel partners Gain trust and be capable of influencing business owners and their decisions Maintain an updated and accurate pipeline and forecast Educates Regional Sales Directors/Territory Managers on partner backgrounds, areas of expertise, ways to leverage Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong verbal communication, presentation and project management skills Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations is important. Self-starter; ability to perform consistently with low levels of direction Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful Ability to work autonomously with technical products and office applications Ability to manage effectively and efficiently multiple tasks and priorities Strong ability to onboard new vendors Good Salesforce and ability to get understand bespoke systems Qualifications 5+ years of recruiting and enabling channel partners Experience of ERP software solutions, and Manufacturing experience would also be preferable 4+ years of specialized/industry experience
