Sponsorship Sales Manager – Sustainability £ Up to 60,000 + Uncapped OTE 100k+ London (3-4 x office) My client is a young & well back launch looking to put a series of events together across the Energy space. Due to expansion a role has arisen for a high-achieving Sponsorship Manager to work on a mixture of new business & existing accounts, this event is regarded as one of the best already in its space. The Candidate…needs to be someone established and ambitious individual to drive the sales efforts nationally, must be self-motivated and with demonstrable experience in exceeding sales targets and in inspiring others to do so. Inspirational, consultative and process driven you must have the drive and ability to lead by example in our specialised, high-performance sales team. 2 years of relevant sponsorship sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets ~ First class knowledge of marketing techniques particularly the use of electronic direct marketing, website development, and events marketing ~ Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices. ~ Data-driven approach to making strategic decisions ~ Ability to work with other function leaders (management, content, marketing etc) to deliver overarching commercial strategy Excellent presentation and negotiation skills ~ Ownership of all plans and strategies in your area of business development, pursuant to the company’s commercial goals Develop the sales plan Prepare forecasts and reporting for management for use in strategic planning and budget setting Maintain sales volume by tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors and supply and demand Maintain consistently high levels of productive sales activity, including cold calls, face to face meetings, presentations, social and email outreach
