This full-time role will begin in September, offering standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM. We encourage candidates with experience and knowledge of various SEN, particularly those with mild to severe ADHD, to apply. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work 1:1 with children who have ADHD and learning difficulties, helping them thrive in their educational journey. Daily Duties: - Provide dedicated 1:1 support to children with ADHD and other learning difficulties. - Assist in managing challenging behavior in the classroom, implementing effective strategies. - Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt lesson plans tailored to individual student needs. - Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement. - Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary. - Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills in SEN support. - Maintain accurate records of student behavior and progress, reporting any concerns to the SEN Coordinator. - Work closely with small groups of children, promoting social skills and academic development.
