Assistant Accountant

Financial Accountant – Scunthorpe – Hybrid Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a fast paced technology business to recruit an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team This role will report directly into the Finance Manager and is an excellent opportunity to become part of a business with exciting future plans. Study support for the right candidate Hybrid working available Matched pension up to 5%Financial Accountant Responsibilities:   Responsibility for the nominal ledger including posting of all journal entries and reconciliation of all control accounts Responsibility for all entries and reconciliation of all bank accounts, including initiating payments for approval Work with the project managers and ops team to ensure the sales invoices are produced in a timely manner and to track and trace any late payments to ensure cash management Production of weekly cashflows, predominantly around the timing of purchase ledger payments Processing of expenses and credit cards Fixed asset management, including disposals Assist with annual budgeting process Ad-hoc financial accounting requirements, including annual returns On an ad-hoc basis offering support to the finance team to cover holidays and sickness Required Skills & Experience: Excellent communication skills Similar varied accounting role including in a similar high-volume position IT literate including excel and accounting packages Ability to work well as a team within a group environmentIf you are interested in finding out about this exciting Financial Acountant opportunity, please click ‘apply now’.
