CAD Technician

CAD Technician   Location: Newcastle upon Tyne   Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per year.   About Us: We are a dynamic team working on a growing portfolio of projects, and we are seeking a talented CAD Technician to join us. Our focus is on delivering in-principle design solutions suitable for planning applications and Stage 1 Road Safety Audits.   Key Responsibilities:   ·Collaborate with our team to create detailed designs using CAD and AutoTrack. ·Design various types of road infrastructure, including simple T-junctions and complex 4 and 5 arm roundabouts. ·Conduct routine swept path assessments. ·Contribute to masterplanning, public realm projects, and car park designs to ensure accessibility for emergency and service vehicles. ·Perform accessibility audits for active and sustainable travel, adhering to LTN1/20 requirements.   What We're Looking For:   ·Proficiency in CAD and AutoTrack. ·Ability to work effectively within a team. ·Strong attention to detail and the capability to handle demanding and challenging design tasks. ·Understanding of in-principle design and experience with planning applications.   Why Join Us:   ·Engage in a variety of stimulating projects that make a tangible difference in community planning and development. ·Be part of a supportive and collaborative team environment. ·Develop your skills and expertise in a role focused on practical and impactful design work.   Join us in shaping the future of urban planning and infrastructure development!   If you feel that you are right for this role technically, but the salary, location or seniority does not suit you specifically then please still feel free to send us your CV.
