Teaching Assistant

Classroom support are excited to be working with a large Primary School in Belvedere in Bexley. We are recruiting for the following roles to start after the October half term break. · Year 1 General TA, needs to have Phonics experience and any experience in English and Maths Interventions would be advantageous. · Year 4 Intervention TA, to deliver English and Maths. · 1:1 TA for a child with SEMH and behaviour difficulties for morning’s, and delivering Splg interventions across the school in the afternoons. There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £85+ per day depending on experience, for working hours 8.30am - 3.30pm. Working days are Monday-Friday term time only. Varied requirements of the roles are, - Supporting the children on a day to day basis in 1:1 or group settings. - Using your experience of effective behaviour management. (For the child with SEMH role). - Preferred requirement of holding a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, although not necessary. - Additionally, fulfilling any required duties defined by the class teacher. - Any experience of SEN or support roles with children is advantageous. - Experience in interventions in English and Maths. Working with small groups of low level learners. - Phonics experience advantageous.
