Production Operative

Our well-known and growing client is currently looking for a Production Operative to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis, based in Welham Green.

As a Production Operative you will be provided with an excellent opportunity to grow and develop skills within the Manufacturing industry.

The hours for this position are Monday to Thursday, 07.30-16.30, and Friday, 07.30-12.30 (30-minute unpaid break)

The pay rate for this role is £11.50 per hour

Main duties as a Production Operative:

• Picking products
• Packing products to be readied for dispatch
• Reeling
• Palletising
• Cutting cables
• Checking picking lists
• Printing labels
• Using the companies ERP system to check inventory

What s needed as a Production Operative:

• Good communication skills
• An interest and understanding in electronic technology and products
• Have a background in picking, packing, warehouse, checking stock, using a computer system to check inventory
• Strong IT skills
• Physically fit
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Good team playing skills
