?? The Opportunity
AIKNIT is seeking a highly motivated Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to support our AIKNIT R&D function. We are looking for someone who shares our mission and is committed to its success, is passionate about building world-class products, processes and strategies, is comfortable collaborating as part of a team, communicating directly with senior leaders and stakeholders, and working independently.
In this position, the CCO will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy of the organisation. Activities will include identifying and accessing potential routes to market, establishing core relationships with relevant stakeholders, selling and marketing AIKNIT products and other customer facing activities to drive business growth.
The CCO reports directly to the CEO and ensures the integrated commercial success of the company. The role should combine technical knowledge of the field with strong marketing and business development skills.

A commercial Co-founder with proven experience (5+ years):
· Raising angel and VC funding
· Securing research grant funding
· Building and scaling B2B & B2C wearable device products across the medical and sports sector
· Interest in orthotics, programmable materials, product personalisation
· Identify, explore and access routes to market for AIKNIT’s product portfolio
· Sell and market AIKNIT products to relevant markets
· Empowering and developing teams from zero to 100+
· Taking ventures from ‘garage’ to exit

· You are obsessed with disrupting the healthcare status quo
· Minimum 5 years of professional commercial experience within the medical or sports sector
· You are passionate about building profitable ‘impact - focused’ startups
· You are excited about selling and marketing products and customer facing activities
· Independent, self-directed, highly motivated, intellectually curious, and driven to take initiative
· Excellent, clear and interpersonal communication skills
· Strong commitment to the team: maintains positive working relationships with diverse people, including
internal and external partners
· Commercial instinct and ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines

This is a full-time role, available for an immediate start. You must have a right to work in the UK. Given the timeline we’re working to, we can’t consider visas at the moment. Meetings will take place 2-3 days/week in person, at London Euston Office.
