Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor Salary:£50,000 - £53,000 per annum Monday Friday double days Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Thorne, which is recruiting for an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers and Machine minders ensuring the site can achieve target output. You will be tasked to minimise downtime through ensuring regular maintenance of equipment. Maintenance Supervisor Duties: Working on several different machines and have a skillset and experience working with pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gear boxes, valves etc. Planning and coordination of team of multi skilled engineers carrying out both Electrical and Mechanical. Ideally you will have the ability to fault find on PLC systems. Fault finding using PLCs HMI interface. Work well within a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing and production environment. Reacting to breakdowns, finding out and eliminating the root-cause of problems and working on continuous improvement projects. Maintenance Supervisor Experience: Team management You will ideally be multiskilled having a thorough understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering. Leadership within a fast-paced environment. Motivating & team building Great communication skills PLCs like Siemens Fast-paced manufacturing experience.
