Business Development Manager £60,000 - £70,000 + Commission Reading/London We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the utilities sector, with telecoms experience being highly desirable. This role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of the industry and to drive growth in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the utilities sector, with a focus on expanding the company's portfolio. Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets. Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and partnerships to secure long-term business deals. Utilize GIS systems to inform business strategies and identify areas for market expansion. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to senior-level executives. Requirements: Proven experience in business development within the utilities sector (telecoms sector experience is desirable). Familiarity with GIS systems and their application in utilities projects. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment. Located in, or willing to travel between, Reading and London.
