The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a dynamic English department. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about engaging students with the language, literature and a love of the subject. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality English lessons to students aged 11-18, preparing them for their GCSE and A-Level examinations. Key Responsibilities: Delivering engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Planning, preparing, and assessing students' work to ensure exceptional progress. Contributing to the development of the English curriculum and resources. Supporting the school's commitment to providing personalised care, guidance, and support. Participating in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience. Collaborating with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English. Ability to teach English at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level. A passion for English and the ability to inspire students.
