Our goal is to build a world where every resident can sleep safely at night, knowing their home is 100% compliant.By delivering the highest-quality service, continuously championing our values and going above and beyond to succeed, we can achieve our growth mission and make the UK safer, one home at a time.We do this, through our unique methodology;Think – Challenging our people to create ideas that provide solutions for a safer, more affective, and risk averse business future.Protect – Translating research into resilient and practical applications that allow people and businesses to achieve their best in safer, better protected environments.Sustain – Developing partnerships built on mutual trust and understanding the needs of a client to deliver better value.Ranked in the top 25 best service companies to work for in the UK, we now have an opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant working within our Finance team.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of Management Accounts to full review levelOwnership of ledgers to ensure accurate financial reportingOwn and report on variance analysis across the P&L, proactively investigating and resolving with departments across the business including regular and ad-hocPreparation and review of all scheduled Balance Sheet Account ReconciliationsEnsure complete, accurate and timely monthly management reporting Manage the fixed assets accounting processMonitor and coordinate specific month end (and year-end) activities per Month End close TimetableSupport the performance of the year-end processes including providing all relevant information to external auditorsSupport the review of company minimum control standardsSupport purchase ledger team with payment runs and open PO reviewsSupport sales ledger team, with framework and retention reportingSuggest ideas for continuous improvement within area of expertise and take steps to implement changes as agreed with support from management.Skills/ExperiencePart qualified AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCAPrior Accounting experience.Experience of Xero or other systems including full journal, reporting and reconciliation routinesStrong Excel skillsAbility to work under pressure to meet strict reporting deadlinesAbility to take an analytical approach with good attention to detailStrong prioritization and organization skillsExcellent communication skillsWhat we look for in our peopleFirstly, we embrace the value of Athletes Grit.
