Job Title: Medical Director We are working with a private company in the private/independent Healthcare space looking for a new leader to help develop and progress a current site. Provide leadership to the ophthalmology department, setting clinical goals, and promoting a culture of excellence in patient care. Oversee and direct all clinical operations, including patient consultations, surgical procedures, and post-operative care, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety standards. Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain the highest level of patient outcomes and satisfaction. Lead the recruitment, training, and professional development of Doctors and supporting staff to build a highly competent and cohesive team. Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, professional standards, and legal guidelines relevant to ophthalmology practice. Represent the organisation in professional and community engagements, promoting the ophthalmology department's expertise and reputation. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ophthalmology, ensuring the integration of evidence-based practices and cutting-edge treatments.
