Apollo Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 relief driver in the Swindon area on behalf of their well established food service Client. This will be an 8 week temp to perm position for the right candidate.
As a relief driver your duty will be to cover deliveries as and when required due to holidays, sickness and absence or any other situation as they arise. This will be on a MON-FRI weekly schedule with a minimum of 6 hours per day.

Type: 8-week Temp to Perm
Salary: £32,868.00 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with varied start times between 4am and 8am.
Minimum of 6 hours per day.
Key Responsibilities:- Vehicle Checks: Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and the load is secure before leaving the site.
- Paperwork: Complete and manage all relevant paperwork for each delivery according to company procedures.
- Cash Handling: Handle and collect payments as per company policy, ensuring all payments are correctly cashed in at the end of each day.
- Vehicle Cleanliness: Maintain vehicle cleanliness to the standards required for company audits.
- Report Issues: Immediately report any vehicle defects or concerns to the Operations Manager.
