Job DescriptionRole: Business AnalystLocation: Glasgow (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite)Duration: 6 MonthsDay rate: £350 inside IR35Role Description:Essential Skills/Experience:Identify, create, and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level, focusing on quality improvement and data management, ensuring data is reliable and valid.Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive), develop process re-engineering vision, and recommend simplification/optimisation options, including how to integrate new processes with existing ones and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies.Actively input into scoping large or complex changes, engaging senior stakeholders across Function areas and ORAC, investigating, documenting, and analysing "as-is" processes, and facilitating teams to agree "to-be" processes; assessing and challenging the feasibility of "to-be" options through evaluation of risks, costs, benefits etc.Experience of working in a bank environment, familiarity with bank products, processes, regulatory environmentA good understanding of business analysis techniques - including gathering requirements and documenting functional design, process flows and data analysis, writing business & technical documentation, test cases and supporting test case execution.Preferrable/Desirable Skills:Knowledge and understanding of ORAC and/or similar workflow management applications allowing you to offer the best possible technical solutionsActively input into scoping large or complex changes, engaging senior stakeholders across Function areas and ORAC investigating, documenting, and analysing "as-is" processes, and facilitating teams to agree "to-be" processes; assessing and challenging the feasibility of "to-be" options through evaluation of risks, costs, benefits etc.Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum and Kanban), and waterfall methodologies, including Strong expert knowledge of Lifecycle Management and project management tools: Rally, JIRA, ConfluenceAn experienced Lead BA that can actively provide input in design process, requirements definition and challenge (VP-level).
