Mechanical DNA Shift Engineer

Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Mechanical DNA Shift Engineer to join the team at one of our well established clients based in North Lincolnshire. The Role - As a Mechanical DNA shift engineer, you will work closely with the wider engineering & production team(s) to ensure that machinery is safe & downtime is kept to a minimum by delivering a true mixture of planned/preventative/project and improvement tasks. You will be able to undertake mechanical diagnostics and repairs and will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance to the mechanical infrastructure & subsidiary buildings. The Shifts – Week 1 – Days (Apply online only)) Week 2 – Days (Apply online only)) Week 3 – Nights (Apply online only)) Week 4 – Afternoons (Apply online only)) Salary – £40,370 Responsibilities – * Planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical systems across a large, automated manufacturing facility in accordance with company EH&S guidelines. * Carry out breakdown diagnostics (RCA) and support in the elimination of repeat failures. * Execute the mechanical equipment specific inspections as per CMMS schedule. * Maintain accurately and effectively all necessary files/records, including use of the CMMS systems. * To ensure on-site spares are kept to optimum levels and that stores processes are adhered to in the utilisation and management of spares. Required Experience – * A NVQ Level 3/4 in Mechanical Engineering. * Knowledge of Conveyor Systems, Crushers, Screens, Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems would be an advantage. * Ability to read technical drawings. * Ability to Work at Height and in Confined Spaces with relevant training provided. * Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of MS office packages.
