Salary: £35,000 (Pro-rata for term-time)

Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef Manager to join our team. As a Chef Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, developing innovative menus, and leading a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create well-balanced, nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences
Manage and optimize the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality standards
Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff to achieve operational excellence
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
Ensure strict compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols
Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
Continuously monitor and improve customer satisfaction through proactive communication and feedback implementation
Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning and execution
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment
Demonstrated ability to manage, train, and support a culinary team effectively
Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating innovative and delicious dishes
Strong financial acumen, including budget creation and management
Proficiency in menu development, considering nutritional value and diverse dietary needs
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control protocols
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances
Proficiency in using kitchen management software and inventory systems
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends
