Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commissioning activities with a strong focus on health and safety for all stakeholders.
- Champion our Health & Safety policies, integrating them into daily discussions and decision-making.
- Oversee Energy Isolations and Lock Out Tag Out procedures during commissioning activities.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Testing, ensuring all documentation is meticulously prepared.
- Maintain an issues resolution log, tracking and closing all commissioning-related items.
- Manage the setup and closure of the Commissioning plan for each project.
- Oversee the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with CSA and MEP Quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, ensuring they have the information they need to progress effectively.
- Review and optimize the master construction schedule to enhance program delivery.
- Lead weekly/daily commissioning meetings and provide progress reports.
- Manage subcontractor activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and specifications.
- Compile and verify all Testing and Commissioning documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
What We're Looking For:
Strong time management, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for detail are essential. You should be computer literate, capable of preparing reports, and comfortable administering the necessary paperwork.
Key Qualifications:
- A degree in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant trade background.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a site-based MEP Commissioning role.
- Extensive knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems and commissioning practices.
- Proven experience working on hyperscale Data Centres.
- Excellent IT skills to navigate the digital landscape of our projects.
