Main duties and responsibilities
To ensure the creation, decoration, and presentation of desserts such as cakes, pastries and pies is perfectly executed. General duties include ordering ingredients and supplies for the restaurant.

Ensure the appearance of all food is immaculate
Ordering ingredients and checking stock
Seek and maximise revenue opportunities and minimise costs without compromising standards
Effectively oversee and direct the kitchen department in a smooth and operational manner
Guide and lead by example in all areas of kitchen conduct
To create a motivated and high performing team, committed to delivering high standards of food production and presentation
Flawless reputation for the kitchens on Health and Safety issues
Respond to any changes in the kitchens as dictated by the needs of the operations and the company working closely with the Restaurant / Grand Café Managers to ensure a seamless operation
Establish and maintain clear communication from/to the brigades which is both positive and direct
Protect the health, safety and well-being of our guests and colleagues
Be a change agent, constantly reviewing service delivery
