Quality Technician

The company are looking to recruit a Quality Technician to join their thriving business in supporting a world-class customer base.
What you will be doing
- Collaborating & sharing best practice with colleagues in the Quality team consisting of 20+ people. You will be supported by senior colleagues with decades of experience within Aviation quality
- Conducting First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Preparing and validating forms in relation to AS9102
- Supporting in resolving quality issues with assembled products
- Playing an instrumental role in developing continual product improvement throughout its manufacturing life
- Acting as a key interface with other internal and external disciplines
- Evaluating and processing non-conformities
- Offering expert advice, information and support to Design Engineering and other internal and external customers and suppliers as required
- Experience of working in a hands-on quality related role
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles including methods, processes, production control, plant and tooling based on a lean enterprise approach
- Knowledge of DVI,PPAP,APQI is desirable
- To be located within a commutable distance to Farnborough, Hampshire
