The Company * Well-established, multi-disciplinary, and award-winning Engineering Design Consultancy * Extensive portfolio including major UK, European, and Global projects * Stylish offices based in central London * Offers hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 days at home) The Role & Key Responsibilities * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on major Data Centres around the world, during RIBA stages 2-4 * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will report to and work closely with the Mechanical Associate Directors, as well as managing their own workload independently * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be able to mentor less-experienced, junior team members * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on the project whilst adhering to strict deadlines and budgets Skills and Experience * Essential * Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or higher (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services * Minimum 4 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in various large-scale or complex projects and mentoring junior team members * Excellent communication skills * Desirable * The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will have, or be working towards, Chartership (through CIBSE or the IMechE), though not essential Whether you are a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer looking to gain valuable experience in Data Centres, or a proficient Mechanical Design Engineer wanting to propel your career, this is an unmissable opportunity to collaborate with one of the top multi-disciplinary Design Consultancies in the industry.
