Data Engineer | Azure Databricks Snowflake | £50-55k | London 1-2 days per month G.Digital are now partnering exclusively with a Data Consultancy who are now looking for the first Junior-Mid level hire! As a team of 8 they've already built a fantastic reputation since their inception back in 2022 but are now looking for a curious and enthusiastic Data Engineer to join them on their journey They already have a client in mind that this particular individual will be working with from day one, with the initial project being focused around completion of a systems integration as well as the delivery of a new Datawarehouse in Azure Why they're partners of choice: Senior leadership team from some of the biggest names in tech A business passionate about ESG, offering Net Zero consulting as a service ? Microsoft partner using some of the best tools and tech to support their clients in a variety of sectors Big plans for growth specifically in Data Analytics, Engineering and Science What they need from you... 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role Built pipelines or completed migration / integration projects within a cloud environment (Azure is preferrable) Any previous Data warehousing experience using Snowflake e.g worked on a project that involved designing database schemas and then building data pipelines Knowledge and experience of Data Factory / Data Bricks A passion for data and driving your own professional development, naturally taking initiative to seek out answers to the problems you're trying to solve Desirable experience... Exposure to PowerBI to build dashboards and reports Consultancy experience Interview process The first stage is an informal chat with the Head of Data and a Data Architect from the team to walk through your CV, find out about you and uncover your skills across technologies such as Azure, Snowflake and Data Factory The second stage is an informal chat with the Head of Data and one of the Founders to run through situational and culture fit based questions e.g give me an example of a time where you...
