They are recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team. In return for a salary in the region £45.000 - £50.000 + Car Allowance of £5.000/ Company Car along with excellent employment benefits. They've successfully launched a new robotic picking system, which has set new standards in the industry, and secured a major contract with a leading retailer, further establishing their reputation for excellence. Key Responsibilities include: * Working from contract specifications and in liaison with the wider project team, suppliers and customers to develop robust, compliant and cost-effective project layouts. * Leading the project team to deliver specific integrated systems projects. * Prepare the post-sale overall general arrangement and sub-system arrangement drawings ensuring the design intent is translated into an engineering solution. * Prepare the design risk assessment for the project and ensure design mitigates risks and designs meet relevant EN standards suitable for CE/ UKCA marking of the final system. Desirable Requirements: * Formal Qualification in Mechanical Engineering – Preferred Degree, acceptable HND/ HNC with suitable relevant design experience of up to 5 years * AUTOCAD 2D proficient * Proficient with all Microsoft packages.
