Support Worker (Extra Care Housing) - Keswick Cumberland Council Location(s): Greta Gardens, Keswick Available Hours: 22.5 hour and 30 hour per week Hourly Rate: £12.38 per hourThe advertised hourly rate includes a supplement (JWC) to the base grade of the post. JWC supplements are conditional on the physical demands and /or working conditions of the role. About Extra Care Housing Support older adults to live independently the way they choose. Extra Care Housing provides support to people living within an assisted living community everyone has their own home environment such as a flat bungalow or within a retirement village.About this opportunity As a Support Worker (Carer, Care Worker, Care Assistant) you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.No experience or qualifications are needed to get started.
