This role, which is based at our site in Oldbury, will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of the UKs leading parcel delivery business. This role will be working nights covering a continental shift pattern of 4 on 4 off on nights 18.40 – 07:00 As the successful HGV TechnicianMechanic, you will report to the Workshop Manager and be a key member of the team. Working in a time critical distribution environment, your key accountabilities will include; ? Servicing and maintaining DPD’s fleet of approximately 1500 Mercedes Benz tractor units and in 2700 trailers. ? Fault Diagnostics on vehicles ? MOT Preparation for the vehicles ? Weekly monthly checks of HGV vehicles ? Mechanical and Electrical repairs on vehicles
