Receptionist / Administrator

We are on the lookout for a versatile and welcoming Receptionist / Administrator to oversee our front desk operations and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling petty cash, adept with IT, CRMs, and databases, and possess strong interpersonal skills. This role requires a proactive individual who is ready to embrace the dynamic nature of the position, with a keen ability to learn, empathise, and manage data entry tasks efficiently.

Day to day of the role:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for our company, warmly greeting and checking in/out clients and visitors.
  • Efficiently manage phone and email communications, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
  • Oversee petty cash transactions and maintain meticulous financial records.
  • Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material.
  • Set up meeting rooms, including arranging necessary equipment and catering when required.
  • Order and manage stock for food supplies and bathroom essentials.
  • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handle the unpredictability of the role with a positive attitude and adaptability.
  • Self-manage daily tasks and learn to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
  • Be the frontline support for the company, managing people's expectations and providing assistance where needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role.
  • Competency with IT systems, CRMs, and databases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • A willingness and ability to learn new skills and systems quickly.
  • Empathy and understanding towards clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in data entry with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to handle the unpredictable nature of the role with composure.
  • Experience in managing stock and ordering supplies.
  • Capable of self-management and prioritisation of tasks.
  • Commitment to being a supportive and reliable frontline presence.
