We're seeking an experienced Head of DTC to drive growth across an alcohol e-commerce and investment startup. This would involve owning a new brand that is being launched by the parent company, which is fully-bootstrapped and profitable. This key position will own the direct-to-consumer strategy for the new venture, an offshoot of the main business, with a focus on scaling customer acquisition and retention through digital channels. The ideal candidate will have the entrepreneurial attitude of a founder / CEO combined with the hands-on technical skill of a digital marketing lead. They should feel excited by the opportunity to own a small startup with the backing of bigger business behind them (finance, buying teams, etc.) Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the new brand Personally manage performance marketing campaigns across Google and Meta platforms to drive initial growth Create and optimize the full customer journey, from acquisition to retention Work entrepreneurially while leveraging parent company resources effectively Build and lead a high-performing team as the venture scales (expected within c6 months) Make data-driven decisions for rapid testing and iteration of marketing strategies Collaborate with parent company teams (finance, buying, tech) while maintaining startup autonomy Required Experience & Skills 5 years of DTC experience Strong entrepreneurial track record or startup experience Hands-on expertise in performance marketing (Google/Meta) - must be able to execute campaigns personally Experience in rapid scaling of customer acquisition while maintaining profitability Proven ability to work autonomously and make strategic decisions Experience building teams and cultures from scratch is desired Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration Preferred Qualifications Previous experience launching or scaling D2C brands Background in alcohol, luxury goods, or regulated products Understanding of investment products or alternative assets Track record of helping to build successful marketplace businesses The Ideal Candidate Will Be A builder at heart with a strong operational mindset Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change Equally skilled at strategic thinking and tactical execution Excited by the challenge of creating something new Detail-oriented in marketing execution while maintaining big-picture focus Ready to roll up their sleeves while building for scale
