Job Title: Music Teacher Location: Walnut Tree / Brooklands Farm, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire Contract Type: Permanent Placement (Starting January) Salary: Paid to Scale (M1 - UPS3) Hours: Full-time, Standard Teaching Hours with Full Teaching Responsibilities Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our school in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis starting in January. The successful candidate will have a passion for music and the ability to inspire students across a range of year groups, fostering both their musical talents and their love for the subject. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and dynamic Music lessons in accordance with the national curriculum. Encourage students to develop their practical skills in performance, composition, and listening. Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to support their musical growth and development. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to all abilities. Participate in school events and extracurricular music-related activities, such as performances and concerts. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the Music curriculum and support wider school initiatives.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. A passion for Music and the ability to inspire students in the subject. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Experience teaching Music at secondary level, with the ability to differentiate instruction for varying abilities.
