Job Details: Working hours: 3 days per week Salary: Negotiable Location: Surrey Contract Type: Permanent Job Summary: This post is directed at qualified Clinical Psychologists with interests in and knowledge of neurodiversity to join our team as we continue our initiative to improve the neurodevelopmental pathway and mental health service experience for autistic children and young people within Sutton. With the expansion of our service, we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and innovative clinical psychologist to work within our specialist service for children and young people who are neurodiverse. Our team is friendly, supportive and considers not just diagnostic criteria but other factors such as culture, post covid consequences and the economic climate which may affect the assessment outcome for a young person. The successful candidate should have experience of: * Conducting Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments independently * Conducting assessments for young people between 0-18 years of age. * Who has used the 3di and adi-R for assessments * Who has knowledge of or has conducted the ADOS * Who has experience of neurodevelopmental disorders and mental health concerns. There must be an understanding of child development, autism, ADHD and mental health concerns such as trauma, attachment, anxiety and depression. Applicants must have experience of working with autistic young people between the ages of 8-18 years. Applicants will also need to have experience of applying psychology theory in community settings with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
