Project Manager

Are you looking for your your next challenge as a Project Manager? Do you have have experience managing brownfield projects working to COMAH and CDM regulations? Our client is Europe's leading logistics company for liquid products and one of the largest in the world. Their core business activity is the transportation and storage of a wide range of bulk liquid products. They operate in 8 countries across Europe, and Central and South America, with 68 storage facilities, 47 airport facilities, more than 6,000 km of pipelines and 11 million cubic meters of storage capacity. They are now seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Grays, Essex. The Role As Project Manager you will support the Project Portfolio Manager to ensure the planning and management of programme of works in line with the investment programme and minor projects. To ensure work is executed in a timely manner within the estimated budget while adhering to full compliance in company standard and UK/European legislation. To lead project managers/project engineers who conduct engineering activities on company assets who may have several projects/engineering works at any one time. Your experience You will possess an engineering degree or similar demonstrable experience. Ideal experience in project planning is essential along with workable knowledge of pipeline COMAH, MoC and CDM regulations as well as full knowledge of CDM 2015 regulation. Brownfield project experience is vital for this role. Other skills required for this role are data management, problem solving, procedure/management level report writing and good budget management. As a self-motivated individual you will show good teamworking, excellent communication skills and the ability to make decisions. Attention to detail and the ability to communicate across a wide variety of internal and external customers is essential.
