Field Lift Technician

Our client specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, escalators, ramps, and moving walkways.   Are you a skilled Lift Engineer or Technician with deep technical knowledge and a passion for delivering high-quality service? If so, we want you to join our client’s team as a Field Technician!   Location: Essex/Kent/ East London Salary: Competitive   Role Overview As a Field Technician, you’ll provide expert technical support to our service operations within the region, using your specialist knowledge across a wide range of lift equipment. You will be the go-to person for resolving technical challenges, ensuring service targets are met, and training the service team on best practices. You will also participate in the standby roster, helping keep our clients’ lifts running smoothly. Your role will be vital in maintaining high service standards, meeting contractual obligations, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.   What We’re Looking For NVQ Level 3 (minimum) and completion of at least three LEIA units. Extensive knowledge of lift systems. Strong understanding of control systems and diagnostics. Ability to break down issues and create action plans for resolution. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems. Key Competencies Ability to organise, prioritise, and assign tasks effectively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train and guide others. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and consistently deliver high-quality work. Professional phone manner and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
