Funds Attorney

A reputable FinTech company who serves as a trusted partner to independent financial advisors, wealth managers and asset managers, is seeking a Funds Attorney to join the international Legal team. This role will represent the company in distribution agreement negotiations as well as support the launch of the company's private funds for its clientele.Responsibilities:Negotiate various agreements with counterparties Coordinate with outside legal counsel with respect to a variety of issues including regulatory, corporate and fund investment workDraft and review private fund offering materials, partnership agreements and related private fund legal documentationQualifications:2-4 years of fund formation experience within investment management (Private Equity and Hedge Fund)Qualified in the U.K., a member in good standing of the New York bar, or qualified in another jurisdictionLaw firm or in-house experience at an asset management firm Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate structures and regulatory matters
